Hello, I was looking thru some records I had pulled at the library and I have a record from a book "Edgefield County Marriages 1769-1880 Implied in Edgefield County , SC Probate Records" by Barbara R. Langdon and I see a Richard Wilbourn m. _____Minter Box 20 Pack 702 Frame 071,073 Year is 1820. My note: There is also a William Wilbourn who lived in Edgefield Co., SC who died and left a will. He had a brother we know named Jeremiah Wilbourn who died in Taliferro Co., GA in 1820's. They were married to some sisters named Hudson the daughters of William Hudson from Laurens Co., SC. Also I have the marriage of Richard Willburns daughter Martha who married John A. Cheatham in Yazoo Co., MS on Dec 23, 1845. Anderson Willbourne m. Mrs. Esther Bland Oct 12, 1851. I do not know if this could have been Andrew C. or not . A Dicy D. Wilburn m. Joseph E. Taylor there on Aug 25, 1846 also. These may or may not connect to your line but I have 9 children including Richard Brown Wilburn from Tucaloosa , AL that I have on this sheet. A wild card note: Thomas Welborn the son of Edward Welborn d. 1804 in Greene Co., GA left a will in Tuscaloosa Co., AL . He lived in Putnam Co., GA and he had a daughter named Permelia Clark Wellborn. I have all his children from both marriages though and I cannot connect Richard and Thomas who was my line, a brother of his David my gggg. Thomas also had a John R. Wellborn. There is also a Hudson family connection to the Mecklenburg Co., VA Wilburns.
