of San Antonio; five brothers, one sister, and nine grandchildren, all of San
Antonio. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 1929 at 4:00 p.m.
from St. Peter's Catholic Church. Interment will be in the San Fernando
Cemetery No. 2 under the direction of Hagy & McCollum.

Requiem Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Friday at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. Internment will be in Willborn Cemetery, Poteet. 5, 1988 San Antonio Light WILBORN -- John M. Wilborn, age 63, died
Wednsday, May 4, 1988. Born in Poteet, Texas he was a resident of San Antonio
for 43 years, and retired from North American Van Lines as a truck driver
after 28 years. He is survived by his wife Lily Wilborn; two daughters, Mary
Ann Hawley and husband, John, and Gloria Lippert and husband, Edwin, both
couples of San Antonio; one son, John Wilborn Jr. of San Antonio; four
sisters, Stella Garcia, Rosa Fernandez, and Mary Fernandez of Poteet and
Mattie Gonzales of San Antonio; two brother; Tom Wilborn of Poteet, and Jesse
Wilborn of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A
rosary will re recited at 7:30 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels, South. A
Mass will be celebrated at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Satuyrday, May 7, 1988
at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Willborn Cemetery in Poteet, Texas.

November 27, 1988 San Antonio Light: WILBURN -- Ollie T. Wilburn, age 80, died Nov. 24, 1988. He is survived by his wife, Mary Wilburn; son Ollie Wilburn, Jr., sister-in-law, Beatrice Flores and brother-in-law, Alberto P. Chavez; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. Mr. Wilburn was a past member of the Nat M. Washer Lodge of Masons. Rosary will be recited Sunday, Nov. 27, 1988 at 7:00 p.m. at Roy Akers Funeral Chapels. Funeral Mass will be held Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart. Burial will follow at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery after the Mass.

He is survived by his sons Roy and Danny Wilborn; daughters Beatrice and Irene; daughters and their spouces, Dora and George Serna, Cathy and Robert Montanez and Susan and Nick Garcia; brother Tom Wilborn, sisters Stella Garcia and Mattie Gonzalez: also several grandchildren. April 21, 1996 San Antonio Express: PEDRAZA -- Mrs. Grace Hobrecht Pedraza passed away in El Campo, TX on April 20, 1996 at the age of 98 years. She was born March 8, 1898 in Elmendorf, TX to Alvin Hobrecht and Amanda Wilburn Hobrecht. Mrs. Pedraza was the widow of Joseph J. Pedraza, the first police officer killed in the line of duty in San Antonio, Tx. She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers, one grandson and one step-son. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Delores Casey of San Angelo, TX, Mrs. Irene Fletcher of Ft Worth, TX, Mrs. Annie Price and husband of San Antonio, TX and Mrs. Grace Husiage of El Campo, TX; and two sons Mr. Robert Pedraza and wife, and Mr. Joseph Pedraza and wife of San Antonio. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. A rosary will be recited Monday, April 22, 1996 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Philips of Jesus Catholic Church. The funeral Mass will celebrated Tuesday, April 23, 1996 at 2:00 p.m., also at St. Philips of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2. Pallbearers will be: Eddie Pedraza, John and Jack Price, Stephen Pattay Jr., Robert Hardenstine and Patrick Gwosdz Sr. Arrangements are with Mission Park.

Janie C. Hilburn, 70, passed away August 14, 2000, in Poteet TX. She was born April 10, 1930, in Poteet. She was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Hilburn. She is survived by her husband, Preston Hilburn; two sons, Joe and Larry Hilburn; three daughters, Betty Hilburn Velazquez, Rachel Hilburn Salazar, and Laura Hilburn Robles; one sister, Jovantina Quintero of Poteet, four grandchildren, Lizette Velazquez, April Hilburn, Joe Hilburn III and Shelby Salazar and two great-grandchildren; Daisy Mireles and Joseph Matthew Hilburn. A rosary was held August 16, 2000, in Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton, TX. Burial is held at the Wilborn Cemetery in Poteet, TX.
Johnny F.
Wilborn passed away on June 30, 2001 at the age of 56. He was born January
21, 1945 to John and Lilly Wilborn in San Antonio, TX. He worked several years
for the Pearl Brewing Company and the last the 10 years at Fort Sam Houston
National Cemetery. A member of the USMC and Vietnam veteran, he was the
recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was preceded in death by his
wife, Graciela and his father, John Sr. He is survived by his mother, Lilly
Wilborn; son, John A. Wilborn and his wife Laura and grandchildren, Alexandra
and John Michael; sisters, Maryann Hawley and husband John, Gloria Lippert and
husband Edwin; sisters-in-law, Lucinda Morales, Delia Salinas and Maricella
Martinez; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial pages

James E.
Wilburn, died on Monday, September 3, 2001 after a sudden illness. He was
born in Derby, Texas to Lafayette Wilburn and Jesucita Guerra on April 14,
1906, and had lived in Corpus Christi, Texas since he was a young man. He
started a small grocery store at Sonora and Elgin St. for several years before
he became a Real Estate Broker for Paul Cox Land Co.. He sold most of the land
in Molina Addition and Hudson Acres in Corpus Christi, Texas. He loved being a
businessman and was a very faithful Democrat all his life and he always took
the time to vote.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife Mary Delgado of San Antonio, Texas, and then Santa Fuentes of Corpus Christi, Texas. Also by his brothers, Fred Lafayette Wilburn, and George Wilburn of Corpus Christi, Texas and John William Wilburn of Beeville, Texas.
He is survived by his two daughters, Rose Mary W. (Dr. C.G.) Oliveira, and Josephine W. Slonaker of Corpus Christi, Texas; two sons, Jim Wilburn, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, and Charley Wilburn of Corpus Christi, Texas; his grandchildren, Ricardo N. Oliveira, Corpus Christi, Texas, David L. Oliveira (Julie G.), Houston, Texas, Linda M. Oliveira Danna (John Mark) Atlanta, Georgia, Daniel S. Oliveira (Donna Bartlett), Sugarland, Texas, Sharon Slonaker, Austin, Texas, Edward (Kim) Slonaker of Corpus Christi, Terri Wilburn, Jimmy Wilburn, David Wilburn, Blake and Gary Wilburn all of San Antonio, Texas; great grandchildren, Shannon E. Oliveira, Kelli K. Oliveira, and Christopher D. Oliveira all of Sugarland, Texas, John Mark Danna II, Atlanta, Georgia, Charles Breren Slonaker Glasgow and Sidney Slonaker Glasgow of Austin, Texas, Ricky Oliveira, II, Austin, Texas, Brittany M. Visitation will begin 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 5, 2001, at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M., that evening. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 6, 2001 at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
