In an effort to consolidate and preserve the work of John Hawley, his site (located at http://www.geocities.com/manning_genealogy/), has been copied here as a preliminary step to loading the data into our genealogical database. The Manning surname stems into our line of Brooks by the marriage of Teresa Manning and Myron Brooks Jr. In keeping with the original purpose of the Obed Brooks website (http://www.obed-brooks.us) we would like to incorporate these linkages into our research.
